Create a Prayer for your Thanksgiving Table

WHO – we acknowledge what God has done
DO – we ask God to answer our needs
THROUGH – we offer our prayer through Jesus

We invite you to follow these directions to write a meal prayer that you can use at your Thanksgiving dinner table and for all your family meals in November. We encourage you to use the formula YOU, WHO, DO, and THROUGH. In this formula, we name God, often using a descriptive word or phrase, acknowledge what God has done for us, ask God to do something for us, and offer the prayer through Jesus or the Trinity, as we always do.
